Wolf Medium-Range EO/IR

Minimize Surprises

Lightweight but powerful, Wolf surveillance systems can be configured from a menu of purpose-built, environmentally hardened thermal and visual imagers. In more open terrain, Wolf can detect a human presence up to 13 km (over 8 miles) away. Other available imagers provide a broad field of view for shorter-range applications.

Wolf surveillance systems can be mounted on vehicles or trailers for rapid deployment, on a building or permanent tower, and even on a portable tripod for a quick response to changing conditions. Regardless of mounting, Wolf and IntrudIR Alert provide fast detection and geolocation of each potential threat in an easy-to-use package.

Features

  • Panoramic point-and-click interface accelerates training and response time
  • Multiple systems can be controlled by a single operator and workstation
  • Human detection range of 6 to 13 km, identification range of 1.5 to 6 km1
  • Thermal imager horizontal field of view (HFOV) from 35 to 0.8 degrees1
  • Visual imager HFOV from 57 to 0.6 degrees1
  • Cooled or uncooled Mid-wave Infrared (MWIR) thermal imager2
  • Tool-free installation and swapping of imagers reduces downtime and maintenance cost
  • Easy integration with third-party sensors such as radar, vibration, and CBRNE
  • Compatible with TASS, Pelco-D, Bosch and other standard protocols

  1. Thermal and visual optics and sensors are configured to customer and application requirements. A variety of field-tested options are available.
  2. Cooled imagers typically have better sensitivity, speed, and magnification than uncooled units, but are not required in all applications. IEC’s technical team will help you find the most appropriate and cost-effective solution.

A Heritage of Service

IEC surveillance systems have helped to protect personnel, facilities, and physical assets around the world since 1999. Ruggedized by design, IEC products handle temperature extremes, vibration from vehicles or drop deployment, fine-grained dust and sand, and other real-world challenges.

Third-party sensors integrate quickly and directly into IEC’s modular architecture. Incorporating IEC’s IntrudIR Alert middleware into existing C2 software is just as easy, giving security staff and site managers a complete operating picture.
